On Tuesday December 19, the members and families of the AAFD took some time off to celebrate the Christmas season with a Holiday Party. With a busy month of running calls, meetings, trainings and escorting Santa Claus around to local neighborhoods, the members enjoyed dinner and games at the Clubhouse Restaurant in Gibsonia. Sponsored by the AAFD Board of Directors, the members got to relax and spend some time catching up with our extended families. There was even a special visitor - direct from the North Pole, Santa Claus himself arrived on his sleigh to visit with the kiddos and hand out gift bags! A good time was had by all.

The AAFD would like to wish our members and their families a happy Holiday Season - and would also like to thank the AAFD Board of Directors for such an enjoyable night. Special thanks also goes out to our mutual aid partners from the SAFER Group - Cranberry Station 21 and Callery Station 19 for providing automatic aid coverage while we were out of our first due area - thanks guys, we couldn't do this without you!

Merry Christmas to All!
