At 0139 hours Adams Area along with the SAFER companies were dispatched for a garage on fire at 111 Amber Lane in the first due. On arrival, the garage was fully involved with immediate danger to exposures. Due to the lack of immediate water supply in the un-hydranted area, defensive operations were performed with protection of exposures including the residence and the neighboring property's garage. Crews operated for approximately 5 hours. The garage was a total loss, but the exposures were saved with minimal damage.
