Tonight members continued training in preparation for placing the new Rescue Squad 42 into service.

Members practiced with assembly of the monopod onto the Rescue Squad for use in below-grade/rope rescue scenarios, familiarizing ourselves with all components and best practices/procedures for a quick, safe, and effective deployment for rescue.

We also practiced with the new airbags, practicing the lifting and cribbing of a vehicle or other heavy object entrapping a victim.

Keep posted to our website for future trainings on progress with the new Rescue Squad!
