Today the Adams Area Fire District was requested by Butler City Station 1 to respond on the RIT assignment for a working fire with extension to exposures at the Sir Speedy, a printing shop located at 229 S. Main Street in the city. Chief 42-1, Chief 42-2, Tower 42, Rescue 42, and Engine 42-1 responded with 12 total personnel. Callery Station 19 was also added to the assignment to complement manpower due to the span of the incident.

While on scene, Tower 42 was tasked to assist with truck and roof operations, with the remainder of the split crews continuing the RIT operations. As the stubborn fire was brought under control, crews were then tasked with overhaul, finding and extinguishing hot spots in the rear of the collapsed print shop.

Crews operated on scene for approximately 7 hours.
