Just before 1pm, the first alarm assignment was struck for a trash compactor on fire inside a commercial building. Chief 19-2 arrived and had a small fire contained to the compactor unit. Engine 42 arrived on location and stretched the trash line to extinguish the fire. E19, E42-3, and Tanker 19 assisted in over haul.
