Just prior to 11:00am, a still alarm was received at Station one for the reported smell of something burning in a commercial structure on Crider Road in the first due. Engine 42 marked up and advised dispatch to fill out the first alarm assignment. Engine 42 arrived on location with nothing evident from four sides and C42-2 took command. Crews interior encountered a strong order and began investigating. Crews narrowed down the source to an electronic money counter after a power surge. Ventilation was completed and business returned to normal.
