Just before midnight, Adams Area crews were dispatched to assist on Seneca Place in Marshall Township (Station 185, Allegheny County) for a vehicle on fire in the driveway, less than 6 feet from the garage door of the residence. Tower 42 responded with 4 a minute after dispatch, with Chief 42-2 and D/C 42 also responding.

Tower 42 arrived as second due truck behind 185 Engine with lines being deployed on the vehicle fire and the garage beginning to show signs of possible fire impingement, and Tower 21 (Cranberry Twp., Butler County). Chief 42-2 was advised of possible occupants inside the home, assigning Tower 42 to interior search.

Tower 42 made entry, clearing the 1st and 2nd divisions with no occupants found. All efforts were then focused on extinguishment of the vehicle.

Crews operated on scene for a little over an hour.
