This morning, just being 10:00, Company 42 was dispatched for an off-road vehicle on fire in the woods on the property of the Mars Area School District. Engine 42 marked up quickly and immediately made the request for Brush 19 due to the reports of the fire being in the woods. While enroute, Engine 42 noted a smoked showing from about a mile out and arrived on location with a working fire. The crew from Engine 42 effectively stretched 600' of line to quickly extinguish the fire and limit the extension.
