| The AAFD mourns the loss of Life Member Edward Pfeifer III, who recently passed. Ed wasn’t an Adams Township-area native, but when he moved his family to the area in the 1980s as a businessman, he joined the former Mars VFC and quickly assimilated himself into the fabric of the Mars area.
In the Mars VFC, he served in various elected offices and line officer positions. Later, Ed also served on the Board of Directors of our local EMS provider, Quality EMS.
Ed was able to attend last year’s Life Member breakfast sponsored by the District, along with his wife Ruth.
Thank you for your many years of community service, Ed. Rest peacefully. |
