Shortly after 4:00 PM, Companies 42 and 19 were alerted to a motor vehicle crash with 1 vehicle on fire at Route 228 and Adams Ridge Blvd in Adams Township. Chief 42 arrived quickly after dispatch to confirm a 2 car crash in the intersection with a vehicle on fire. Upon arrival of Engine 42-2, a hand line was quickly stretched and the fire was brought under control. Engine 42 and Engine 19 worked together to ensure there were no additional hazards while EMS treated the patients involved in the accident. Traffic control was conducted as local tow services removed the vehicles and EMS transported to a local hospital. Units were on scene for approximately 50 minutes.

This was the 2nd of 3 incidents handled between 3:30 and 5:30.
