1954 GMC/General engine. Acquired through Civil Defense funds in the post-WW-II era, thus the "CD" emblems on the doors. 6-volt ignition system; notoriously underpowered. You knew to wind up the siren before coming to an intersection, as the roof beacon would nearly stall from the siren's power drain.
