At roughly 8:00am, the first alarm was struck for smoke in a residence in Lancaster Twp. bringing Tower Ladder 42 on the run. First arriving Engine Company from Harmony had a large single family dwelling with an obvious smoke condition in the garage area. Tower 42 arrived as the first due truck and at the direction of command gained access to the roof for investigation. The tower crew reported no findings just as interior crews reported a low voltage lighting wire shorted out and was causing the condition. Crews quickly disconnected the power and picked up.
