Three Working Fires in Less Than 24 Hours

Friday, just after 4:00pm, the first alarm was struck for a reported garage on fire in 22's first due bring Tower 42 along with Engines 2 and 3. Harmony Fire District units arrived to find a rough 2 story garage well involved and went to work. Command scaled back the incident which kept Tower 42 on location to assist with overhaul while Engine 2 stood by 21's Station.

Friday night, just before 11:00pm, the first alarm was struck for a reported residential fire in 228's first due bringing Rescue 42 along with Engines 2 and 3. Wexford Volunteer Fire Company units arrived to find a single story ranch with smoke showing and a working basement fire. Rescue 42 arrived and went to work as the first due special service in the basement with the Engine Company. Crews worked aggressively to contain the fire but due to the basement contents and the eminent collapse of the first floor, command switched to defensive ops. Crews worked well into the morning before being released just after 5:00am

Saturday, just after 2:00pm, the first alarm was struck again for reports of smoke coming from a multi-family dwelling in our first due. Engine 42, Tower 42, Engine 42-2, and Chief 42 were on the road simultaneously. E42 and T42 arrived to find smoke showing and a working attic fire. Crews made quick work of the fire and contained it to the area of origin.
