The green color was not consistent with any other vehicle in Mars VFC’s rich red history. It was selected to align with the theme used in other community promotions, related to green martians and extraterrestrial connections. Or perhaps the late John Clutter, whose body work and painting adorned many in the Mars fleet, just had some leftover green paint 😉
