AAFD crews were kept busy after the day with Honorary FF Oliver, responding to two mutual aid runs on opposite sides of the district.

First, 42 was alerted with the 90 Box for a possible structure fire on Fairview Drive in Cranberry Twp. Chief 2, Engine 1 and the Rescue Squad responded with 9 total personnel. After a short investigation, 42 was released from the scene.

While returning to HQ, 42 was toned out for a vehicle accident in Pine Twp, Allegheny County, originally reported to be on Warrendale Road. While responding, the location was updated to Babcock Blvd. Engine 1 was the first apparatus on scene with orders to patient care by Chief 228 (Wexford) on scene with extended ETA for EMS and three patients. The Rescue Squad arrived shortly after, taking a blocking position behind the MVC and performing containment/clean up.
