Designated each April, it is intended to raise awareness and recognize the often intense work by 9-1-1 call-takers and emergency service dispatchers nationwide.
The calm voice in our moments of crisis. One only needs to have listened to radio traffic from the past few days of flash flooding emergencies in the region to get a sense of what they do.
AAFD wishes to recognize and thank the staff at both Butler County and Allegheny County Emergency Services.
