| The AAFD has a memorial plaza in front of our station, comprised of memorial bricks for each of the Life Members of AAFD, and the Charter and Life Members from our parent companies (Mars and Valencia VFCs).
The plaza is dedicated in memory of “Butch Leonberg,” who long ago initiated a yearly process to place small memorial flags at the graves of Life Members.
You are welcome to stop by and locate the brick memorializing your friend or loved one. It is right below the flagpoles at 645 PA Route 228, Mars. There are a few parking spaces nearby; please do not obstruct the ingress and egress of fire equipment or responders. |
