Throwback Time: Mars VFC Engine 6

54 years ago (January 1972), the former Mars VFC had taken delivery of a 1972 GMC / Ward LaFrance 1000 gpm engine. This correspondence followed-up a post-delivery meeting to work through some final inspection issues.

Referenced in the latter was the late C.V. “Bud” Hager, a longtime fire chief.
