This past month the AAFD has focused our Tuesday trainings on RIT and FF Down scenarios, including FF Down CPR as well as a demonstration of the FAST Board by Ret. Chief Horst. The AAFD will be purchasing two boards for RIT and other rescue deployments, with further training encompassing the myriad of uses of the FAST Board to be scheduled after delivery.
Our Thursday technical rescue team training focused on confined space rescue, with a training scheduled in April alongside the VA Fire Department to hone our skills.
